Becoming VAT registered

Ive opened a case with amazon but not hugely optimistic about how helpful the answer is going to be, and the fact i raised the case 2 weeks ago and havent had a reply doesnt fill me with confidence.

Basically i am VAT registered from 1 Nov, do i fill in my VAT details on 1st Nov or before? am i expecting a period where my inventory is not sellable?

Anything else i should know?

Thanks,

Simply you dont charge VAT on your sales for the rest of this month. From the 1st November you charge VAT on you sales.

There won't be any stoppage of sales. Amazon have no knowledge of when you start your VAT registration

On the 1st November you can enrol in Amazon VAT Calculation service if you wish. This takes a few days to be activated. During this period Amazon won't issue invoices for your sales so you need to do this manually for any business buyers.
