Shipping Rates UK
I’ve been selling books on Amazon for years and shipping has always been £2.80 by default. Now when I go though my inventory a lot of shipping rates seem to be random e.g. £3.43, £3.02. £2.82 etc. This doesn’t seen to have any relevance based on the size and weight of the book. Has anyone else experienced this?

I too sell books and have always just kept the default shipping charge of £2.80 (even when I was on the Pro. Selling plan), as I felt it was too huge a task to go through my inventory and apply a shipping template to each individual book, as all different weights and sizes.
Amazon don’ take into account weight and size.
Have the ones that are different been moved to a different category ?
I had quite a lot of Haynes manuals moved to the Car category (!) even though books, and some cookery books moved to Grocery - so the default charge was different.
