Has anyone successfully got a refund for accidentally opening Pro Sellers Acount
Trying to get a £30 refund for accidentally setting up a pro sellers account. I notice its quite a common occurance. Be interested to know if anyone had been successful in getting refund and by what method of communication with Amazon.

I haven't personally, but you need to open a case with Seller Support 'Help' top right, and ask for a refund of unused fee, but only if you have never sold anything, and it is at their discretion, but do know of people who have been successful. You could say you accidentally signed up for the professional plan. BTW it is not a Pro Account, it is the name of the selling plan. The two account types (legal entity) are Business and Individual.

yes when i was on individual account last year I was successful in getting a refund, speak to seller support and state you have not used any of the professional features, as long as you haven't you should hopefully be refunded. Good luck

Thanks to @Seller_ZVAz3d5lZuGid and @Seller_3CbKyZDwVWePi for the insights.
Also remember that you can change your account type from Professional to Individual at any time after completing seller identity verification to avoid being charged the Professional subscription fee going forward.
