Amazon randomly striking listings are requiring transparency codes.

Amazon recently nuked a listing we sell on, deciding that the product is manufactured with transparency codes. It's not. There are now zero sellers on the listing as nobody can provide transparency codes for a product that isn't manufactured with them. I've spent nearly a month speaking to support agents (via tickets and phone) who are all useless at resolving the issue. They just string it along asking for useless information, transferring the cases between department and doing nothing to actually fix the issue. I even provided an email where the president of the company confirmed he has no idea what transparency codes are as they don't deal with Amazon. I was told to reach out to the manufacturer by an Amazon rep. When I provided this email, they ignored it and focused on something else. Amazon seller support may be the worst customer service I've ever had to deal with.

ASIN is B08C4P5K5D if anyone is interested.

Hi @Seller_Z9wqMOSA1JjAy

I had faced similar issue before and you’re absolutely right that the seller support is the worst customer service ever in the history of business.

I kept telling Amazon with proof that what you’re demanding, a transparency code, is impossible to provide since the manufacture doesn’t know anything about the codes.

In the end, after 6 months Amazon decided to release my products back to me. Luckily I didn’t send much inventory of that product to Amazon.

Hello @Seller_Z9wqMOSA1JjAy

Christine here from Amazon Forums.

I just heard back from the team in charge and according to them the case ID 15785888931 is currently open, and they have asked for the correct information.

In this case, the invoice provided is older than the brand's Transparency enrollment, and you will need to provide Transparency codes.
