Editing images on Amazon listing
We have 6 listings of products which have different images because the packaging differs.
Of them, 3 listings have images which are same as the images we have uploaded.
For the remaining 3 listings we deleted 2 images of the total 8 and replaced them with 2 new ones.
However Amazon continues to reflect those original 2 images and not the new replaced ones.
We tried raising this issue with the help team but their response is to register the brand and then exercise administrative rights to edit/rearrange those images as per our preference.
We are the brand owners (NOT REGISTERED brand on Amazon registry) and there are no other sellers of the given products on Amazon other than us. We began our Amazon journey just 2 months back.
We do not see much sense in registering a brand only for editing images.
It may have other benefits and we may register them in the future but for now we just wish to edit those images.
Is there a middle path to solve this issue?

While I believe that the solution which Seller Support recommended to you would be the shortest path, it would be nice if you can share me the case ID so that I can have a better understanding of your situation.

same thing happened to me on one of my listings. I am the only seller, brand registered however images were not updating. I contacted support and they told me that amazon have chosen images from another supplier. Anyhow, I did fix the problem. I wrote back to seller support again and told them that I am the only seller so it is not possible another seller has better photos. Frustrating as.
I also did edit each photo to ensure that each photo was a minimum of 1600 x 1600 pixels. If main is under this pixel range the rest of the photos on the listing will not show live (something new I have learned).

is the listing live or not ?
if not then live the listing and update the images of the product after that it will be take 24-48 hours
