Does a phone call re-set our wait time?
Hi,
We’ve been waiting about a month for verification of our account and have had all selling suspended since the process began.If I call the support line again will we go to the back of the queue?
I emailed once early on and got a standard you must wait response. I then called the verification team support line and was told all was ok and I needed to wait. We are changing from a partnership to a company. My worry is that since uploading the required information we haven’t even been asked for any documents and now I’ve had an emailed requesting that we remove our inventory within the next 45 days or it will be destroyed.
It seems crazy that new sellers can sell while awaiting approval but as an experienced seller with stock in the FBA warehouse that we are just left waiting with no updates on progress.
Any advice or suggestions would be very gratefully received. I’m placing orders for Christmas stock at the moment and spending money without the means to sell it - scary!!

I have just received that email requesting removal of stranded inventory. I have been trading 3.5 years and wating for verification now for 5 weeks. I have heard it takes 6/8 weeks at the moment so trying to be patient but it is not easy and no guarantee. I making provisions for removing the inventory and will contact them after 2 weeks of no activity. Trying to decide at what point i send an escalation to managingdirector@amazon.co.uk if this is currently standard waiting time, so i dont want to waste my shot with them.
How long have you been trading?
Have they asked you to switch to limited on the seller central page yet ?
Have they asked you for an authorisation letter ?
Have you checked your passport and has it expired since first registering ?
Are your bank details ready for the switch to limited ?
Are they dispersing any funds to you while you wait ?
