Brand Name and All Editing Controls Being Hijacked

Hello Everyone,

A hijacker has been successfully changing brand name, A+ content, bullet points and title on my ASINs. This has been going on from the past month. I have gained back control for everything but he again gets the control through Amazon team.

I have been going back and forth with the SS team, BR team and they reply back with the same bookish responses which are of no help. Each time I have to explain the entire scenario to the Support team and they refresh the ASINs back to my brand name. But I have not been able to find a permanent fix to this.

The hijacker has again requested for brand attribute to be update, I know this because I get an email from Amazon stating that they were contacted regarding potentially incorrect information on the ASIN and I can update it if I want. Well, after being told several times by the SS team to ignore this email, the brand name gets changed within a week and I lose all editing control.

Please note that I have registered brand on Amazon and have always been selling under my own brand name. The hijacker's entire existence of company registration and brand registration is done after a year of my product being already sold.

I urge the moderators here to take note of my case and please prevent the hijacker from attacking my ASINs

It's possible that two listings are getting combined by the catalogue and you're both 'tug of war'ing the listing back and forth because every time one of you changes it to make it right for you, you make it wrong for them.

Can you share the ASIN? Have you been able to check the storefront for the other seller?

I have a similar problem that a hijacker has changed the brand name and added an un related image to my listing. I have informed Amazon that the image and brand have nothing to do with the items I am selling but they say I have no right as I am not the brand owner. My point to them is I was the brand owner as we manufacture the items and the image is un related but it is like talking to a brick wall. The agents just read from a script on their help page! and cannot understand what I am actually saying!

I have a similar issue, my ASIN was hijacked, the item is a exclusive video game, that i hold copyright to, and has been my ASIN for over 3 years, i created it, now a brand has control of it, i can not change my title or my images of my own copyrighted work, seller support are just a joke sending me around in circles about 20 times that i gave up in the end.

Please report the issue through:

"Support"-"Contact Brand Support" in Brand Registry, describing the issue as "ASIN hijacking" through the "Report a marketplace policy violation"-"Other marketplace policy violations".

I will appreciate your feedback about this reporting channel.

It's possible that two listings are getting combined by the catalogue and you're both 'tug of war'ing the listing back and forth because every time one of you changes it to make it right for you, you make it wrong for them.

Can you share the ASIN? Have you been able to check the storefront for the other seller?
