Temporary Restraining Order issued by a federal court.
Hi there
Just after a bit of advice re Temporary Restraining Order issued by a federal court.
1. Received a performance notification saying:
We are writing to inform you that we removed some of your listings and your disbursements from your seller account have been placed on hold. We took this action in accordance with a Temporary Restraining Order issued by a federal court. Items that infringe another party's copyright, patent, trademark, design right, database right, or other intellectual property or other proprietary right are prohibited. For more information on this policy, search on "Prohibited Content" in seller Help.
2. I contacted Amazon, as no ASINS had been removed, to see what the issue is. Seller support replied back:
We checked with your performance notification didn't found any ASIN so contact them via email mentioned and ask them to withdraw the complaint.
-------------
I have already contacted the people via email - they replied quickly asking for email address and account id - they have since not replied for 3 days.
What would be the best plan of action to get rid of this mess quickly as my funds are locked, and my business is being affected by this.
- Me contacting them again directly,
or
- getting a lawyer involved to claim wrongful suspension of the account?
Thanks for your insights.

Unfortunately, whatever path you decide will take months to resolve.
However, I assume that contacting them again directly would be your best plan.

Hello @Seller_GnbYMKmd7oQ9W,
My name is Dougal from the Community Manager Team and while I cannot advise one way or the other, but based on your specific question and the information that is currently available to you (and from what I can review of the performance notification), either option still requires you to know which ASINs or content is potentially infringing on someone's IP.
I may be stating the obvious and hopefully some other sellers have some better advice.
Best of luck, Dougal

Did you get it resolved? Did you pay settlement money or the TRO expired and your funds were released?
