Bulk Listing upload file errors

I have been trying to bulk update listings but have encountered many errors that i am unsure how to fix. For more current listing with 14 digit GTIN codes these have come back as an error as:

The value ‘5060628882117’ does not meet the minimum length limit for attribute ‘[gtin]’. in SKU: [CG-26KX-2RYZ]
-example only

I know this is because GTIN requires 14 digits and so a 0 on the start however you cannot have a number in an excel document start with a 0 it is automatically removed. The only way to keep it is to convert it into text but then the cell gets flagged with an error and you’re prompted to change it back to a number.

Am I missing something here? how can I fix it to update the title/features etc of these listings?

For anyone with this issue then just converting those cells to text and ignoring the warning that comes up, adding in the 0 at the start does fix the issue. Now to tackle all the other confusing issues I’m still getting as errors.

Although technically they’re all known as a ‘GTIN’, if you set the expected type to ‘EAN’ (the European barcode standard) it should accept the 13 digit code.

GTIN usually expects a 14 digit code, although GTIN’s can actually have 8, 12, 13, or 14 digits.

I have inventory problem, Amazon refuse to give any help or support but have changed the bulk DVD uploader with no advice or instructions in English and as an older person are just talking computer geek language to me . My upload problems have gone on for 7 months and I feel abandoned by Amazon.
