"Report An Issue With This Product" - incorrect Product-Details/Descriptions what to select?

Hi everyone.

I have been reporting to Amazon many messed up live-images for hundreds of home-media-products using the "Report an issue with this product" link on the main product pages. I have finally got Amazon to fix nearly all my home-media-product listings which were affected - I only have x2 more that need to be fixed, yays! It's taken months (sigh) - often I had to keep repeat sending the same error reports because a lot of the time Amazon just ignores error reports. Still, compared to things like Amazon's (MIA) Seller-Support etc, at least "Report an issue with this product" on the main product pages does work SOMETIMES at least.

Well anyway, now most my listings live-images are fixed, there are other things on many listing-pages that are wrong that I have been trying to "Report an issue with this product" to Amazon - things like Product-Details/Descriptions often display as non-UK/English for UK/English-specific home-media-products, or Number Of Discs often display wrong number of discs.

In "Report an issue with this product" what are we meant to select for these things? - the options are (relevant only - ignoring images + size/dimensions):

  • Some product information is missing, inaccurate, or could be improved:
  1. Release Information
  2. Model/Edition
  3. Brand
  4. Other
  • Parts of this page don't match:
  1. Reviews
  2. Bullet Points
  3. Brand
  4. Other

It's annoying that "Some product information is missing, inaccurate, or could be improved" + "Parts of this page don't match" seem like very similar report options.

Anyway, I am wondering - is "Release Information" suitable for reporting incorrect Product-Details/Descriptions?

Although perhaps "Bullet Points" could be an option? (I know Product-Details/Descriptions on listing-pages don't strictly display as "Bullet Points" - they display as unmarked lists and notes, but given Amazon are often imprecise with their instructions, maybe it could mean or have once meant "Bullet Points"?).

I have been trying to report using "Other" (for both report options above), but with no success so far. Reporting incorrect images was one thing (they were all correct originally but got messed up earlier this year), but reporting incorrect Product-Details/Descriptions stuff is another matter - I fear Amazon might not do anything and just say something like "only the brand owner can fix the pages" (hopefully it's not another dead-end like trying to report errors to Seller-Support etc).
