Same keywords in Automatic & Manual Campaign

If my automatic campaign is targeting keywords in my product listing, is it competing with my manual campaign targeting the same keywords? and if a keyword is performing well in the automatic campaign should I add it as a negative keyword in order to add it to the manual? will that affect the position of the ad?

You should add as negative in the auto campaign each keyword added in the manual campaign. There are many software doing it automatically. We use Advigator. Usually their bid for auto is lower than manual because bid is based on conversion rate and auto is usually lower. It could be different for your case.
This is important, otherwise you will have overlapping targeting, and it will win the keyword with the highest bid.
