SOLVED . Losing thousands due to Amazon - Help - 6 days In. (evidence provided) *EDIT: now 9 days in*

Hey,

SOLVED, brand registry finally sorted it after 15 days, a shame it took so long but atleast they recognised the problem and fixed it

Hoping we can get some help here, we’ve made many cases on SS but the majority are not understanding the situation and we are going to be losing thousands per month if this is not sorted soon. We are currently on day 6 of the issue without a resolution.

The issue:

Amazon automatically and suddenly after 5 years of selling decided to change our browse nodes on our ASINs, which in turn has made our listing unsearchable for all organic keywords. (not indexed)

We are only currently searchable by Amazon ads / searching our ASIN directly / searching our brand name. Everything else, we have completely lost rank for.

I have provided evidence of this attached to this post, the grapth below shows on the 5th of July we were ranking NO.1 for our main KW but since then our organic rank has disappeared completely…As you can see, there is missing data from 5th-11th (today).

(the grapth shows the last 90 days of ranking history)

We can also tell we have lost rank because our sales have gone from 40+ per day to 10- 15 (which the ads are contributing to, as these still seem to work)

I have also tried to manually do an upload file to try to change the browse nodes, but this has not worked. The browse nodes were fine for 5+ years and are still correctly asigned in the backend of my listing.

I am running out of options, therefore decided to put out this post to see if an Amazon admin or anyone on the forum can help us solve this. We are generating no organic sales, and losing all our rank to competitors which we spent 5 years gaining.

Thanks for your time reading this, thanks so much!

we have had similiar and all they will tell us is that they are not informed on the algorithm and cannot tell us why, we have to work it out. ours has been like it for about a month with almost no sales. i am ripping our listing apart and checking them but nothing is making a difference. all our performance info is excellent.

We have been there and it will be difficult to get the browse node back. The algo does what the algo does.

But you will get your rankings back, if you are generating ad sales for those KW’s. It will tell the algo that you are relevant for these KW’s and more importantly converting for those KW’s. You might not immediately bounce back to number 1, but you will get them back. In the meantime I would definitely be more aggressive on ads and try and give as many indicators as possible to the algo that your ASIN is relevant for those KWs.

I am 10 days now since the first issue occurred, I have been told my case has been referred to an internal team but after 5 days we have no news or update on a resolution. @Winston_Amazon can you get one of the team to look into this? It’s been a quite stressful 10 days for our team here. Thank you.
