Upgrading my seller plan from individual to professional

Good afternoon, after many months of learning as an individual seller, i’m ready to finally upgrade my account to professional seller, although i still have doubts:
i’m sure i’d like to downgrade my account after a couple of months, because of the low inventory i can afford to buy at the moment.
Will this process (upgrading and downgrading my seller plan depending on my necessities) affect my account health?

Just to clarify that you do actually mean upgrading the selling PLAN and not your account type (the legal entity) to a Business Seller Account ?
You will pay £30 a month Professional PLAN fee, and as Neil says, if you do not sell 34/35 items a month you will actually be out of pocket.
I too am a bookseller, and I had to downgrade my plan after many years as my number of sales have dropped significantly.
Just to check that you are registered with HMRC as self-employed and have a Business Seller Account where you have given Amazon your UTR ?
