FBA Inventory Allocated to Wrong ASIN
I recently sent a mixed pallet of inventory to BHX1. The inventory was packed as one SKU per carton and everything was labelled up correctly. There were 8 different ASINS totalling about 400 units. However they have allocated all 400 units to one of the ASINS and made them available for sale. Everything else is now out of stock.
The Shipments page says I need to wait another week before I can ask them to reconcile the shipment. Is there anything I can do to notify them of the error faster than this?

If the wrong item is being sold on an ASIN, then you can simply close the listing to stop it for now.
Otherwise, all you can do is open a case and hope you get someone with some common sense.
More than likely, they will still tell you to wait until able to reconcile though.

I get this frequently. They won’t help until you can reconcile. Even then they quite often argue that they are correct.
I would suggest doing the reconcile and then asking for a bin check.
As your buyers have a 7 in 8 chance of getting the wrong item I would take them off sale.
Amazon will say ‘don’t worry the buyer can return the item if it is incorrect’ but they won’t refund your FBA fees.

Good advice, I will close the listing temporarily. Does anyone know how long the reconcile process normally takes once it is available?
