You cannot list this ASIN because it is restricted from importation by courier model

Hi,

Does anyone know what the error in the title means? I've been selling since 2018 and around mid February 2023 all my stock became stranded and required approval again. It was fine I thought as it had happened before and I never had issues re applying. But since then, I always get the "Your account does not qualify" error, and if I try on the mobile app I see this additional message: " You cannot list this ASIN because it is restricted from importation by courier model"

Needless to say, support has been useless. The ongoing case I have with them was opened in June and every week I get a scripted message saying "we understand your frustration... we're sorry... we're looking... we will give an update soon".

Fortunately this is only a part time for me but it's still annoying to have so much stock stranded for all these months and paying hundreds in storage every month hopping this will get sorted.

Any help with be appreciated.

Never seen it before, but the two things I can see those words meaning are:

1) A reference to parallel imports not being allowed

Or

2) A reference to not being allowed to ship it solely from a different country to the country in which it's being ordered.

Tbh, I don't think it's either of these. Could it be anything to do with regulations saying that international shipments of this product need specific customs clearance or documentation?

From the response this seller got there doesn't seem to be much you can do I'm afraid other than keep trying to reapply
