Very unprofessional team in India
Ungate in grocery categoryI am providing Amazon with all the necessary requirements but the team in India continuously keep rejecting my selling application in grocery category, although I am already selling the same products in the United States marketplace and same invoices and everything were able to get me approved in the grocery category in the United States but here in Canada even when I talk to the customer service, they have looked at my case log and the invoices I have submitted and they say that I should be approved but doesn’t matter how many times I apply and how many times I have given them the new invoices. They always reply me that you’re not eligible to sell in grocery category sometime they ask Please send us all four side of your product and then when you send them, they reply you that you’re not eligible then sometime they say that you need a professional account to sell in grocery category although I was selling in USA already with the individual account but I still switched to professional account. Then they told me that Ty I have to change the name in the tax documents to my business name and I did that and still there rejected me.so basically they just waste your time and ask you to do random stuff just to tell you in the end that you are not approved I am so frustrated upon asking. They just don’t tell you the reason . They don’t tell me why they’re saying that what is the reason I have asked him multiple times, but they never give you the reason, I think this team in India is really unprofessional. There is no way to make a complaint about them or anybody looking at their work and they are just making rules by themselves at the same time I also started to think that because I am selling Pakistani product and the team is located in India maybe this is why they are rejecting my application because I don’t see any rational explanation why they keep declining my selling application latest Case ID: 15785448261

I was checking the case ID 15784729691 and I do see the advised you to wait until the team in charge finish review your application and the date provided on the case was August 13th, 2024.
I do recommend you to allow the team to finish their investigation and if you still have problems let us know.

if you mind checking that case ID again, I have provided everything they have asked they have asked me to switch to professional account. I did that then they asked me to submit all four sides of the product. I did that then they asked me to change my tax information, from my name to my business name, I did that then they asked me to send me the new invoice. I brought new inventory and I gave them a new invoice. Then they said the supplier they cannot verify the supplier. I have provided all the information about the supplier. Plus I went to a different supplier. I also provided further information about the new supplier . Then they refused it again. They said they need a government website to confirm the supplier. Then I shared the link with them of the government website where you can check the businesses, and I also shared these two suppliers, business ID and everything on a screenshot and told them how they can personally check the supplier through the government website after providing them all the information and everything about the supplier now they just keep rejecting my application Because they have a lost every possible thing and I have provided it to them and the reason why you were saying it’s under review is because every time they reject it I just reapply so it’s staying in under process because they review it around three 4 AM Canada time every day and when I see the review and I see the decline status I just reapply so this is a continuous process so this is why I said Amazon customer service is the worst customer service you can ever experience just like how you went to the case and just saw the state is under review, didn’t see anything in the case and came up here and said that I have to wait because Amazon customer service just do the basic the least amount of work they can possibly do to get rid of the situation rather than trying to solve the problem

I do see that the application is under review with the Brand registry team.
In this case, you will need to follow up on the open case until a final resolution, once the case is resolved and if you are still not satisfied with the outcome we can jump in and see if an escalation is applicable.

Now the review has finished multiple times I have provided them with every document and picture they have asked and I believe they ran out of things they could ask me although I meet all the requirements listed by Amazon on their website to be able to get approved in grocery category. Now, they only reply with one sentence which is ‘’We took this action to ensure the mutual success of our sellers and buyers on our site.’’ I am very frustrated that why I am not getting approved to sell in grocery category when I meet all the requirements. This is such a beast of time and money and effort. This is sad how Amazon is treating their sellers and how they miss lead with the information on their website.

I will really appreciate that because I have provided them with everything. I don’t know where to file a complaint about the review process. We are already successfully selling the same products in the United States and I am a Canadian citizen and I am not allowed to sell in grocery category in Canada. If you look at my profile and all the selling applications I have made, you will see that I have provided them with every single information they have asked.

I just heard back from the team in charge, and they mention that they have denied your request because the invoices cannot be accepted as per our policy.
You will need to apply for Grocery & Gourmet Foods application with a new invoice which is fulfilled and should be from a verifiable supplier.

I agree with you 100%. I have talked to support service from India many times about many issues. All they do is produce answers that are completely disconnected from the context. Since I know the excuses they will come up with, I explain the situation in detail in advance, and despite this, they give ridiculous answers without understanding the issue. It is impossible not to go crazy. Especially if you connect via chat, each one spends at least 15 minutes of your time and then transfers you to someone else. They give irrelevant answers without taking any action even on a very simple issue. It is impossible to understand what they are saying or how they understand the situation.
They do not know anything so much that when you explain the issue to them in more detail, they either end the chat or transfer you to someone else without saying anything. It is a complete disaster.
