Amazon Featured Buy Box Prerequisites - Changed on Tuesday in to Wednesday This Week 23rd/24th April 2024

Has any one noticed a massive change in their Buy Box numbers. it looks like Amazon have implemented the EU ruling on the Buy Bx/Featured Product Prerequisites.

Prime but not the cheapest but fastest delivery does not get the buy box. it looks based on some test products that the cheapest item regardless of Prime gets the buy box now.

Does anyone else see this or do you see something else impacting sales across the Market place.

It may well be Amazon are implementing the new Buy Box agreement they have with the CMA where Amazon Prime no longer guarantees the buy box

Amazon have committed to introducing this by May so they maybe introducing it a little early or testing it.

Hi mate,

I have gone from roughly 10-20 orders a day (selling mobile phones) on Amazon to 0, since the very beginning of April.

I have tried to contact Amazon relentlessly but to no avail, it is the same generic bot generated responses over and over. My account health is perfect. There is notification in the news section dated 21st Feb suggesting there are being changes implemented to the way featured offer works however i have noticed in numerous forum posts that so many sellers are facing the exact same thing. Featured offers have totally vanished with no way of them getting it back.

The update criteria is supposed to be changed in May so i can't understand for the life of me why our business are being so heavily impacted during April!?

I would love to know what the problem is and how i can get selling again. This is really bad for business.

Same problem here. Went from having BB on 15-20% of my 100+ ASIN's on average, to 0% for the last 2 days. Sales dropped of a cliff.

We have same problem. April was worst month so far and May has started even worst. I sent so many items in FBA but buy box is only showing for cheapest ones for FBM

I guess its more like a glitch. I have experienced same on my brand listings, upon contacting with brand support, i didnt have a satisfactory response. After about 5 days, I have regained buybox today.
