Hi all
I just wanted to know if anyone had any ideas for how to get red of inventory thats not selling?
I am currently not selling my product very much and i am making a loss on it because of advertising fees on amazon.
Ive got to a point where i would like to cut my losses. Is there any way i can sell the remaining inventory to someone else or to amazon? Or any other method that i can recoup some money but be done with the product i am selling?
Thanks
If your inventory is in FBA you would need to remove the inventory from Amazon. You can either remove it to yourself or remove it to a buyer you find for your inventory.
There is no option to sell to Amazon but you can use Liquidations (assuming stock is FBA) where Amazon will attempt to sell your inventory on for you. You are not guaranteed what price you will get for this and you have to pay a fee to use this.
If your inventory is FBM you are free to sell it to whoever you want.
Sometimes a better option if inventory is not selling is to scrap the advertising and reduce the cost to clear it. You may find you get a better return doing this than trying to sell it on to someone else.
If you can't sell it its unlikely to be an attractive proposition to another seller.
Everything will sell at the right price so perhaps a generous sale price with or without continuing the adverts. There's instructions of what is eligible and how to go about offering it as a discount rather than just cutting the price here: https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/seller-forums/discussions/t/02e568d9-f0bd-418c-affa-20640d6fb268
