Items removed for using the word arsenal
I have had items removed and policy violations for using the word arsenal, which is not only a town, but means :an array of resources available for a certain purpose. ie"we have an arsenal of computers at our disposal"
It's been removed and I have a violation because of the football team brand Arsenal F.C.
any thoughts on how to tackle this as seller support doesn't understand the issue.
My products are cleaning items and nothing to do with football

If it is an actual policy violation rather than suspected, you would have been sent an email detailing who made the complaint (e.g. Arsenal FC). In this case, support will not be interested as Amazon do not get involved in trademark disputes.
However, you can contact the named rep in the email and explain to them that they have raised a complaint in error (probably just a bot that picked up on the word and extracted the ASIN for sending in as a TM breach) and ask them to withdraw the complaint. Hopefully, they will comply and your item can be re-activated and the policy violation strike will be removed.

Unfortunately it seems to be a common theme where Amazon (or their bots) pick up terms and decide you can't use them - we've fallen foul with 'designer' when referring to our radiators and have had to remove the word 'guarantee' from our content too!
It's best to use a bit of lateral thinking and use other words that broadly have the same meaning instead rather than fight Amazon.

It's a real pain, to be honest.
We had a company from Germany close one of our listings because of the words "Party Animal", which were literally knitted onto the socks...
The one we keep getting now is our Namaste socks. Apparently that is an offensive word nowadays...
Amazon and their systems are a complete joke.

I sell books & for instance a book of the town of Winchester will get flagged for trying to list a gun, e.g Winchester rifle. If you tried Gunners instead of Arsenal you would probably hit the same snag.
Sometime ago they took down a number of my listings, I have a licence with the MOD to sell military gifts & they took down things like RAF POLICE key ring on the basis of " items which may give rise to the impersonation of law enforcement are not allowed on Amazon"
Yet being sold by Amazon themselves is a kids dress up sheriff's badge & that gets ignored by the bots.
I did however manage to list a map of Scunthorpe!

I had some running keychains on that said 'marathon, half marathon, 5k and 10k runners' last week. got an email saying I could not sell 5 karat and 10 karat gold in this country (although the listings have been on for 7 or 8 years). I appealed 5 or 6 times advising that these keychains contained no gold or even silver and are not even gold-toned. 5 or 6 times I received the same reply 'you cannot sell 5 karat and 10 karat gold in the UK, I gave up and just changed to 5 kilometres and 10 kilometres. I don't think anyone even reads the appeals and if they do, I do not believe they speak any English! Madness!

I had some fridge magnet of Mont Blanc taking down, because of the designer label brand throwing their weight around.
