There are currently bugs in the MFN system which have been present for 4+ months, and have had no resolution via the usual Seller Support channels, even after escalation to the 'internal team'. Responses from the internal team frequently reflect an inability to understand the issues, let alone fix them.

I know a lot of us would be very grateful if you could please confirm that these are being worked on by people who can actually fix MFN bugs or that they have now been forwarded to them.

Others can likely add more, but the 2 bugs I know best (as they are impacting me) are:

1) Since the beginning of April 2026 (over 4 months ago), the Saturday and Sunday delivery day options on the 'Order Fulfillment Settings' page (https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/sbr/order-fulfillment/) have stopped affecting Shipping Settings Automation delivery promises - for SFP and non-SFP deliveries alike - when Royal Mail is the sole/prioritised carrier and Tracked 24 is an enabled service.

img

I see that there has been a new 'Locations' section in Shipping Settings added just today (https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/fbm/location/...), which separates out some SSA Fulfilment options regarding dispatch days, but I can confirm that the bug affecting delivery days still persists after this update. The SSA system still promises a Sunday delivery date for most Tracked 24 orders expected to be dispatched on a Saturday, despite my settings clearly being set to override this. Before April, those orders would have had a delivery promise of Monday.

While I did re-enable it to check that there were no improvements with today's update, my usual workaround is to disable Saturday as a dispatch day. This will depress business on a Friday afternoon/evening and Saturday morning and so cannot be a long-term solution. It has already been over 4 months.

Please note: this is affecting Standard Delivery sellers who have never enrolled in SFP (like me) as well as SFP sellers - so it is unrelated to the SFP requirements to deliver on Saturday or Sunday. Prior to April, the settings worked as expected/needed for Standard and SFP.

There is also a knock-on effect for those sellers who use LBT services which you can read in the threads linked below.

https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/seller-forums/discussions/t/03da1068-0b07-4f7f-bd02-cf1983736e99

2) Since March 2026 (5 months ago), Royal Mail Tracked 24 & 48 labels generated through MFN "Buy Shipping" have been mis-formatted with squashed text, leading to an uptick in delivery issues.

img

Try different zoom levels in your browser, and you will see a clear difference in the readability of the text between the left (current) and middle (pre-March) labels Amazon generates.

Even before the change in March, the text was much smaller than appears on the labels Royal Mail generate through Click & Drop, but it was still fairly readable. This new font generated through Amazon makes the letters and numbers a lot harder to distinguish, especially since the characters are so horizontally-squashed.

Royal Mail is still a fairly manual carrier, and the harder-to-read writing is causing friction with the human sorters and delivery people. The presence of QR codes and other digital information is not preventing this issue causing delivery problems where manual handling (sorting, final delivery) is involved.

Royal Mail have said that this is an Amazon template issue, and needs an Amazon fix.

Hi Amazon MFN Team,

Thank you for running this event.

We have been selling on Amazon UK for more than 20 years and are currently dealing with a Seller Fulfilled Prime delivery-promise issue that has become commercially critical for us as we approach Christmas.

We are Prime Active, use automated 0-day handling, dispatch promptly and predominantly use Royal Mail Tracked 24 purchased through Amazon Buy Shipping.

However, the delivery proposition Amazon is currently showing our customers is substantially worse than our actual delivery performance and, in many cases, worse than simply using an ordinary non-Prime shipping template.

OUR CURRENT FULFILMENT INSIGHTS

Amazon's own current Fulfilment Insights show:

- Promised delivery time: 4.0 calendar days

- Actual delivery time: 1.9 calendar days

- Promise gap: 2.1 calendar days

- Promised transit time: 2.4 calendar days

- Actual transit time: 1.2 calendar days

- Handling-time gap: 0.0 days

- Average promise extension applied by Amazon: 0.8 calendar days

- OTDR without promise extensions: 96.7%

- OTDR with promise extensions: 96.7%

- Improvement produced by the extension: 0.0%

Amazon's own Fulfilment Insights simultaneously tells us:

“Unnecessarily long delivery dates can deter buyers from purchasing your product.”

That is precisely what is happening.

Amazon is already promising 4.0 days for orders that actually arrive in 1.9 days, yet is then adding a further 0.8-day extension which, according to Amazon's own dashboard, has improved OTDR by 0.0%.

LIVE PRIME VS STANDARD COMPARISON

We have now tested the customer-facing promises under controlled conditions using the same products, warehouse and fulfilment operation.

The comparison was performed after our daily cut-off, so Tuesday 25 August is the next fulfilment day. Automated Handling is active at 0 days.

For an East of England delivery address:

- SFP Prime template using SSA: FREE delivery Saturday 29 August for Prime

- Standard merchant-fulfilled template: FREE delivery 26–27 August

For a London delivery address:

- SFP Prime template using SSA: FREE delivery Saturday 29 August for Prime

- Standard merchant-fulfilled template: FREE delivery 27–28 August

For non-Prime customers the disparity can be even greater:

- SFP-template product: FREE delivery Tuesday 1 September

- Standard merchant-fulfilled template: FREE delivery 26–27 August

In other words, Seller Fulfilled Prime is currently producing a materially slower customer delivery promise than our ordinary merchant-fulfilled shipping.

We are also frequently losing the visible Prime badge because of the extended SFP delivery promise.

THE CUSTOMER-FACING PROMISE DOES NOT REFLECT THE SERVICE WE ACTUALLY PROVIDE

The commercial impact is particularly difficult for us to understand.

A Prime customer is currently being shown FREE delivery Saturday 29 August, even though the order would be dispatched by us on Tuesday 25 August using a next-day-class service.

Amazon's own Shipping Settings Automation states that our selected Royal Mail and DPD services provide One-Day coverage to 96% of the UK population and Two-Day coverage to 97.1%.

Amazon's own Fulfilment Insights also measures our actual average carrier transit time at only 1.2 calendar days.

In practical terms, this means that many customers being shown Saturday 29 August would normally receive their order around Wednesday 26 August, potentially three days earlier than the delivery date Amazon is displaying to them.

This is not simply a cosmetic difference. A customer choosing between otherwise comparable products will make their purchasing decision based on the delivery date Amazon shows before they order. They cannot know that our actual fulfilment operation is likely to deliver substantially earlier.

That is exactly why we need help correcting the customer-facing promise rather than simply being told that the underlying order remains Prime eligible.

PREMIUM DELIVERY IS NOT SOLVING THE PROBLEM EITHER

We are eligible for Premium Delivery, but the One-Day Premium option is frequently not displayed at all.

When it does appear, we have repeatedly seen the supposedly faster One-Day Premium delivery date fall at the end of, or even later than, the FREE Standard delivery window.

A customer can therefore be presented with a Premium delivery option that provides no meaningful delivery advantage over Standard.

We have also discovered that a single carrier-late Premium order can materially affect Premium Delivery eligibility because of the relatively small number of qualifying orders in the measurement period.

SELLER SUPPORT HAS ALREADY INVESTIGATED THIS

We have spent several hours with Seller Fulfilled Prime Support.

They confirmed that promise padding is currently being applied because our OTDR has fallen below the separate 97% level being used for SFP delivery promises.

Seller Support also explicitly confirmed:

“This padding will only affect promise showing on the website and not the actual promise received on the order.”

This means the additional padding is affecting what prospective customers see rather than changing the fulfilment commitment subsequently given to us on the order.

That distinction is commercially extremely important to us because it is the customer-facing promise that determines whether a customer decides to purchase in the first place.

WE NEED HELP GETTING THIS CORRECTED

We are not really looking for another explanation of how promise extensions work or links to Help pages.

We have spent a considerable amount of time understanding the mechanics already.

What we urgently need is for somebody from the appropriate MFN / SFP / Delivery Promise technical team to look at our account and help determine why our customer-facing promises are so far removed from our demonstrated delivery performance.

In particular, could somebody please help us establish and correct:

- Why SFP with SSA produces materially slower delivery promises than our ordinary Standard MFN template using the same warehouse and carriers.

- Why Premium One-Day Delivery is frequently absent or can display a delivery date no better than Standard.

- Why Amazon is adding an average 0.8-day promise extension when its own dashboard says this improved OTDR by 0.0%.

- Whether our regional SFP delivery-promise configuration, SSA settings and account-level promise calculation can be technically reviewed.

- How genuine carrier-caused delivery outliers should be treated when shipping has been purchased through Amazon Buy Shipping.

On that final point, Seller Support has advised us to obtain written confirmation from the carrier for individual carrier-caused delivery misses and submit this to Amazon for possible exemption.

We are attempting to do this with Royal Mail without much luck as obtaining individual written acknowledgements from a national carrier every time an isolated parcel is delivered late is clearly not a viable long-term mechanism for maintaining SFP performance.

If we purchase Royal Mail shipping through Amazon Buy Shipping, dispatch on time and Amazon receives the carrier's tracking scans directly, is there a more practical mechanism for protecting sellers from genuine carrier-caused delivery outliers?

We completely accept that Amazon needs strong delivery-performance standards, and we are actively addressing the small number of delivery misses within our control.

We have also adjusted transit times for destinations where our own analysis showed that the previous promise was too optimistic.

What we cannot commercially sustain is paying for same-day fulfilment and next-day-class carrier services while Amazon presents our Prime offers to customers as slower than our ordinary Standard shipping.

We invest substantially in Amazon Advertising. When that advertising sends customers to a listing without a visible Prime badge and with a materially later delivery date than competing offers, our advertising spend is placed at a serious disadvantage.

Christmas is a major trading period for our business. If we cannot get onto a level playing field before then, the impact on our Amazon business could be extremely serious.

Could somebody from the MFN team please take ownership of this, review the account-level delivery-promise behaviour and help us get this in front of the team that can actually correct it?

We can provide our existing Seller Support Case ID, affected ASINs, screenshots, Fulfilment Insights reports and live Prime-versus-Standard delivery comparisons privately if required.

Many thanks

Good Morning

We’re having so many problems in the last two months selling through Amazon. All our listings are showing an extra days delivery to the customers but we we are expected to deliver next day. It is negatively effecting our business as it’s putting off buyers from purchasing due to the extra day delivery time. We cannot continue to operate like this it’s having such a huge negative effect on our business.

Hello @Seller_8bXb7DV5LHlkO. Our partner team has reviewed your question and the associated thread, but they would like some more details on the issue you are seeing.

Can you share a Case ID or other details explaining the issue you are seeing? Are your Saturday Tracked 24 shipments not being delivered on Sunday?

Hello MFN Team.

Throughout August, my Late Dispatch Rate has fluctuated substantially. It has been established with both Evri and Amazon this is due to Evri NOT scanning my parcels at the local depot (Birmingham) the same day I print the labels.

I have a standard collection with Evri, they collect my parcels more or less the same time every day (except sunday) and roughly 10-15% of these orders are not getting scanned the same day! The impact this is having on my metrics is seriously impacting my business and due to no fault of my own.

I've submitted POA's from Evri and tried contacting Amazon multiple times but no progress is being made. As a consequence, my delivery padding makes me completely uncompetitive.

Ocassioanally the system corrects itself (usually on a Tuesday night) and my sales spike substantially. Inbetween, my sales take a hit.

Refer to Easyship I ld suggest to move this with Royal Mail, since we are using this for self-ship and had much fewer issues; however, with EVRI it's an everyday problem, like parcels not being scanned or late scanned, parcels being delayed, or lost, etc

We are a UK-based MFN seller using Whistl for tracked deliveries. Whistl is a recognised Amazon carrier for us in the UK, and we regularly use Whistl successfully for Amazon.co.uk orders.

Our problem occurs when fulfilling orders placed on **Amazon.fr and Amazon.de**.

When we try to enter the Whistl shipment/tracking information in the relevant overseas Seller Central marketplace, we **regularly have problems selecting or entering Whistl as the carrier**. The overseas marketplace does not always appear to recognise Whistl in the same way that Amazon.co.uk does.

This can then result in genuine Whistl tracking not being properly recognised by the overseas marketplace, despite Whistl providing valid tracking and successful delivery scans.

Could you please clarify:

1. **Is Whistl recognised as an approved/integrated carrier for Amazon.fr and Amazon.de MFN shipments in the same way that it is for Amazon.co.uk?**

2. If it is recognised, **what exact carrier name and service should a UK seller select when entering a Whistl shipment on Amazon.fr or Amazon.de?** Is there a different carrier name or mapping used by those marketplaces?

3. If Whistl is not currently integrated in the same way on Amazon.fr/de, **what is the correct procedure for UK sellers using Whistl to ensure the tracking is recognised for VTR and OTDR?**

4. When we have successfully delivered a parcel through Whistl but Amazon.fr/de has not accepted or recognised the carrier/tracking information, **can this negatively affect our VTR, OTDR or other account-health metrics?**

5. Could this also affect **DD+7 payment release**, where Amazon cannot recognise the carrier's delivery confirmation even though Whistl shows the parcel as delivered?

6. We have previously appealed some of these defects. However, **by the time Amazon reviews the appeal, the affected orders/defects are often no longer visible on the current VTR/OTDR report because the reporting period has moved on**. This makes it difficult or impossible for the appeal team to review the original defect.

**What is the correct process for having a historical carrier-related defect reviewed after it has disappeared from the current report?** Can Amazon review the original order ID, tracking number and Whistl delivery record even though the defect is no longer displayed?

We can provide specific Amazon.fr/de order IDs, Whistl tracking numbers and screenshots showing successful delivery.

The key point is that **Whistl works correctly for us on Amazon.co.uk; the recurring problem is entering/using Whistl as the carrier on the overseas Amazon marketplaces.**

The SSA system still promises a Sunday delivery date for most Tracked 24 orders expected to be dispatched on a Saturday, despite my settings clearly being set to override this. Before April, those orders would have had a delivery promise of Monday.

- Whether our regional SFP delivery-promise configuration, SSA settings and account-level promise calculation can be technically reviewed.

- How genuine carrier-caused delivery outliers should be treated when shipping has been purchased through Amazon Buy Shipping.

On that final point, Seller Support has advised us to obtain written confirmation from the carrier for individual carrier-caused delivery misses and submit this to Amazon for possible exemption.

We can provide our existing Seller Support Case ID, affected ASINs, screenshots, Fulfilment Insights reports and live Prime-versus-Standard delivery comparisons privately if required.

Many thanks

The SSA system still promises a Sunday delivery date for most Tracked 24 orders expected to be dispatched on a Saturday, despite my settings clearly being set to override this. Before April, those orders would have had a delivery promise of Monday.
