Customer return without sealed cover
The customer returned a book, which is fair enough, however it was sent brand new still with plastic cover on it, returned book arrived without the cover. Can we refuse to refund? What are our options here?

Media return exceptions relate to discs that come factory sealed (DVD,CD,Games) are books normally supplied from the manufacturer sealed?
Did you inform the buyer it could only be returned if the seal is intact?

No books are not normally factory sealed, but some are. Isn’t it obvious if he returns the book, he needs to return it with the seal? Otherwise he got the book, opened it, read it and returned it and now we can’t re-sell it as brand new
