ASIN number

Hello everyone!

I am kind of new selling in Amazon, well I should say trying to sell because it is so difficult here. So I have being trying to sell my own product. They don't have ASIN number because I just manufactured but I received the approval from Amazon. I had reached to them but I never received an answer. My question is, when you are trying to add a product and start filling up the for and ask you for the ISAN number, what number do I enter in that field?

I did not received a number or anything from Amazon. I have all the fields completed but I can't proceed because is missing the ASIN number. Thank you in advance!

An ASIN is assigned to a product when it is listed on Amazon for the first time, so if it is a new to Amazon item, then it doesn't have one yet. For the Product ID field, you will need to either get a GTIN/UPC from GS1 or apply for a GTIN exemption, which would allow you to leave that field blank.
