Is Royal Mail integrated
I am having issues with my VTR.
I sell baby clothes and all my parcels are sent with Royal Mail and have a tracking number.
However my VTR is only at 7.81%.
I cannot get a direct answer off amazon support, they only reply to my query with questions for me to answer or possible scenarios.
The only thing i see so far is the possibility that Royal Mal is not integrated.

The question is, what do you mean by integrated?
You can link your RM account directly with Amazon.
Have you done this?
What postage service are you using?
How are you marking it dispatched on Amazon?
Are you allowing your RM account to update tracking on Amazon?

You could do with an OBA account with Royal Mail, then you could link it to your Amazon account, buy your postage through Amazon for each order and it will be charged through your OBA. It might be Register | Royal Mail Group Ltd, although its many years since we opened our OBA, and I think I spoke to someone at RM to open it, when it was quick and easy to get hold of someone, You will probably get better prices, although your Post Office might be unhappy.

There is the issue then - there’s no tracking IDs on those orders.
Are you definitely uploading a tracking number? Go into one of the orders on that report in Manage Orders.
Under the Package 1 details at the bottom of the page - is there a trackign number?

BUT - don’t share any customer data…

Just to add on an £8.99 item, why are you sending them signed for at £3-£4 ?
If you buy your postage direct from amazon buy shipping, you can send them standard second class and they are accepted for vtr automatically

I use RM 48 and manually enter the tracking number. Have had all sorts of issues trying to get an answer from Amazon support regarding VTR as they do not count my orders as tracked. I have been told to take spaces out etc but still its not counted as tracked so I know what your going through its impossible to get any satisfactory answers from seller support.

Hi Dont know whether its worth mentioning, but i had the same problem this morning and I got a call back from Amazon explaining that because i buy my postage direct from Royal Mail the tracking number is not valid and will negatively affect my VTR. However if I bought the postage from Royal Mail using the buy shipping button on the orders page in Seller central, then that will have a valid tracking number, and its the same price so i tried it and job done all sorted.

Hi All,
Ive just intergrated with the platforms, that’s the easy part. Printing the orders has taken 10 times longer than the old way of doing it because Amazon needed a tracking number on every order. That’s a tracking number that means nothing to no-one because we don’t send tracked. However the system does work, it’s just a pain in the rear. Here’s a question, do we have to manifest everyday, I was not going to post out today whilst playing with this new way of doing things? Thanks
