Account Verification Actual name on the account

I have asked by Amazon to verify my account.

They say they will accept my account if the name on the account is my three christain names in full plus my surname.

When my bank opened my account several years ago they abbreviated my account name to my two first initials my surname and the words business account.

Has anyone else encountered this problem and how did they solve it?

You need to solve it by making sure everything matches. Rather than try to dispute this with Amazon, why not see if there is anything your bank can do to address it from their end, surely this must be possible

Lots of people have encountered this problem and lots more will because they don’t provide exactly matched documentation. There are two ways to solve this:

The first is to ask your bank to amend your personal details and then get a statement. The second is to ask your bank for a letter confirming all of your names. Your verification request has probably asked for a bank statement or a bank letter with your details in full and those of your business.

Amazon will usually not make any changes at their end to accommodate you; it has to be the other way round as the process is bot automated.
