Escalating formal complaints against Amazon A-to-Z guarantee / buyer scams
Looking at the online forum, there seems to be plenty of others who have experiecned what I have had - me (seller) sends items to buyer, buyers open item not recieved claim, I upload tracking showing delivered, Amazon side with the buyers A-Z claim, and I lose out with no recourse. Endless useless Amazon chat agents advise you to send in various appeals "with all this information" they say and the appeal(s) all come back rejected.
For me, the fact Amazon sided with the buyer and proceeded with their A-to-Z claim was the last straw, and I pulled all 500 listings from Amazon - Amazon's Marketplace selling fees were already laughably high compared to Ebay and Etsy for books. But as I work in the UK regulatory sector (with some remit over Amazon), shouldnt there be a place for sellers such as myself to join together and submit a super complaint to one of the sector regulators for Amazon to shine a light on their fraudulent practices?
