FUNDS WITHHELD FOR MANY SELLERS, WHY!
Many other sellers reporting the same issue , no previous warning, disbursements are not going through for days, especially now we need them the most. Why is only happening here, is the other competitive online platform disbursements happen daily automatically, what am I missing here? Amazon can you provide clarification and short out this mess...

I had to re-verify my bank account and upload a bank statement so try that. They don't make it clear for some reason.

See this link - I followed the instructions further down, following the broken link on verification of bank account and it appears to have worked. It appears lots of us are needing to have our bank accounts verified
(the later reply from Grrrr - with full instructions)

this has happened to me, I contacted Amazon and mine is now verified but they said it now takes another 3 working days to process before funds released plus 3-5 days as normal once disbursed to get it in bank

I took advice of a seller and realised my (used for years and years) bank acct was showing UNVERIFED and nothing would correct it so I ‘added a new bank acct’ ie EXACTLY THE SAME one I was already using, this was verified the next morning and I have to wait 3 days before I can disburse

Same thing happened to me. I couldn't withdraw my funds mut there was nothing to say why it wasn't working. Finally I contacted 'seller support', although that name is misleading. I was told to replace the bank account I was using with the same account, so nothing had changed but I can't disburse anything for another 3 days. I've contacted 'seller support' again and I was told to send in screenshots of the problem, which I did and the reply I've had is asking me to send in screenshots of the problem so I don't think I'm going to get anywhere.

End of calendar year; many businesses practice dark arts at this time of year to withhold owed money and delay payments to suppliers to inflate their balance sheets. This helps the business secure investment, increase their valuations and in turn boost stock price.
The same thing happens at the end of the financial year... "What can we do to make our finances look healthier?". This time around they have forced a mass re-verification of bank accounts.
Further disgraceful behaviour from 'our partner'.

Amazon gave me a time to the minute when my funds would be released and amazingly they were.

Hi,
I completely understand your frustration—disbursement delays are especially stressful during busy periods. You’re not alone; many sellers seem to be experiencing the same issue recently.
It’s worth checking for any account notifications or performance metrics that might be triggering this. If everything looks fine on your end, I’d recommend opening a case with Amazon Seller Support for clarification. Escalating the issue through @AmazonHelp on social media can also help get a quicker response.
Hopefully, Amazon resolves this mess soon!
Best regards,
