Brand Gating Application

Hi All.

Does anybody have any experience in applying for Brand Gating on their brands listings?

I’m struggling to find any threads of successful brand gating cases.

My secondary question is also, can you add ASINS to your application that the brand isn’t the original creator of?

Any help would be great.

Thank you

Hey @Seller_XcczvJPXv6v9L,

Brand Gating on Amazon is mainly for brand owners in the Brand Registry program. It helps keep unauthorized sellers from listing your products.

For your first question, Amazon approves Brand Gating if you can prove you own the brand, have trademark protection, and have had issues with unauthorized sellers. It’s best to reach out to Amazon Seller Support for guidance.

As for adding ASINs that your brand didn’t create, Amazon usually only allows Brand Gating on products tied directly to your brand.

Hope that helps!

Best, Ezra
