Why am I being charged monthly storage fees for FBA but consistently show 0 excess inventory each month?
I've asked seller support and haven't gotten an actual answer.... but I send what Amazon requests to keep adequate stock for FBA (which of course they charge for) and my FBA Dashboard consistently shows no excess inventory, yet I am being charged a few hundred dollars every month for storage fees. I didn't think that would occur until stock has been in storage for X months/days.

Do you have any inventory at FBA? You're charged storage each month for each and every unit at FBA....not just "excess" inventory.

Dominic from Amazon here, happy to help! Every Seller that sends items into Fulfillment Centers has to pay monthly storage fees.
Amazon charges monthly inventory storage fees for the space your inventory occupies in fulfillment centers. Monthly storage fees are calculated on your daily average volume in cubic feet, based on the size of a unit that is properly packaged and ready to ship in accordance with FBA policies and requirements. Monthly storage fees consist of the following fee components:
- Base monthly storage fee, which is determined by product size and time of year.
- Storage utilization surcharge, which is in addition to the base monthly storage fee, and varies based on product size and storage utilization ratio. The surcharge only applies to sellers who meet the eligibility criteria outlined below.
