Account Suspended BECAUSE I'VE MOVED PREMISES!!!!
I recently moved premises due to lease end. I changed my address to the new one and two weeks later AMZ suspended all my items and account without ANY warning!!!!!! After 15 years of trading! From October to Dec 25th I make 80% of total sales/turnover. This occurrence will cost me thousands. I went to the correct chatline which resulted in THREE consecutive agents telling me they would transfer me to the 'verification' team, non of which did in over an hour. I found a verification page but can add nothing as it refuses to upload images! So I am stuck in limbo losing sales! I've had enough, at 72 and with hypertension, I will move to ETSY!

The problem is, ‘moving to Etsy’ will be hit and miss. We sell on Amazon, eBay and Etsy and Etsy is less than 1% of our sales on Amazon. I genuinely hope you get better success on there.
With regards to Amazon, in hindsight, I would have waited til after Christmas to make a change to my account but too late for that now. Have Amazon asked for any documentation to verify your new address?
As frustrating as it is (as with most things on Amazon), Amazon are only trying to protect your account by making sure it’s you that made the change and not a hacker.

I cannot help you but i just want to say that I understand how you feel and I hope you get this resolved ASAP.

I hope you get things sorted out. I am also 72, and at least 2 or 3 times a year, I have to sort out a crisis that affects my business. It is never our fault, and my wife and I who rely on our Amazon business to bolster our pension, get terribly stressed. I am afraid that eBay and Etsy are not the answer, our sales are 95% Amazon and 5% those two.

Hope you get sorted :( things like this are alarming to read

This just happened to me! Amazon blocked my account for 10 days during the busiest few weeks of the year due to changing Ltd address. They took ages to verify the account and the seller support couldn't speed it up. I missed the whole of BFCM as a result and the slow down of sales will affect my Xmas sales too.I love partnering with Amazon, a company that doesn't give *[Moderator Edit: removed inappropriate commentary] *

Can anyone advise the correct sequence and the evidence that should be submitted? Presume change through companies house, change at bank then change at Amazon?

This is all rather suspect! No other company on the planet needs weeks to verify, unless by design. I can't begin to imagine the total sum of sellers sales held, probably billions. They are withholding £2,600 of my earnings RIGHT BEFORE XMAS!! Earning millions in interest from our money! On principal I cannot allow this to go unnoticed, I intend to bring this whole 'Amazon verification' to the attention of the media. I took TUI to court and despite the 'You've got no chance' view of all, I won the case and received substantial compensation (my brother-in-law is a legal director).
