I have a valid tracking rate of 84,09% and a late dispatch rate of 4,65%...................uh!!

I have a valid tracking rate of 84,09% and a late dispatch rate of 4,65%.

I ship every single item I sell within 24 hours of an order and track them all without any exceptions.

I can also prove this

Where do Amazon get the information to give these incorrect tracking and dispatch rates from?

"I ship every single item I sell within 24 hours of an order"

When do you enter the tracking numbers? If you wait and put them in later (after the clock starts ticking on Amazon) they will consider it late. THEN, are you taking the items to the PO or having them picked up?

If the PO receives them with a SCAN Form the scan saying "accepted" at that point does NOT count as being received. Amazon only counts it as received with a scan that shows some version of "Accepted at USPS Origin Facility".

I currently have one entire bag that is going to bite me someplace since it was scanned on the SCAN Form on 2/4 at 3:28 and has had no additional scans at this point. The bag is just sitting someplace gathering dust!

" and track them all without any exceptions."

Are you using a postage system like Stamps. Pirate Ship, Pitney Bowes, or are you using the receipts that the clerk at the window gives you for stamped items?

Those 'receipts' are not valid for Amazon according to multiple reports. You need actual tracking numbers from a postage provider.

Good luck.

Let me guess: you do not buy shipping through Amazon.

are you shipping internationally?

On orders where Amazon says you didn't enter valid tracking, is there any commonalities like same destination country, etc.? Do any of these orders not show final delivery?

Yes

Amazon now harms your business if their shipping service is late on delivery. Think of it as Amazon hates us and all the issues they can they will blame the seller just like listings where they remove the buy box it is horrible what they tell customers. On time we are not responsible for delays if you get item scanned in to the device Amazon provided and told you by the time that is you the seller fulfilling your obligation! Amazon is evil because Amazon is late and horrible shipping all the time on their own items

Late - If you are buying off site shipping I notice if you put the tracking in at 4pm for example, Amazon will mark it late. We always get everything in by 2 pm. I don't know what you are doing but if you are shipping it all and entering tracking later I would suggest the following: Set your cutoff for 11 AM , have all orders entered by 2pm, make sure it gets scanned. This is a biggest issue with USPS. If you are dropping down the shoot and it's after 3 PM , good chance they won't scan it until tomorrow. That's why we go to the UPS store to drop these. UPS store doesn't give a receipt but it does require USPS to scan every package it picks up from the store while in the store. USPS doesn't normally do this, in fact a lot of time they will pick up from you and not scan it at all. They send it to the mailroom to be scanned. Normally if it comes from a carrier truck it will get scanned same day. However, down the shoot they seem to have a cutoff for this of 3-4 pm. It'll show up late even though you sent in on time.

Global Post- Global Post often shows up "late" because no matter what we do seems they scan those whenever they want. We switched completely to DHL after negotiating rates for international freight because of this issue.

Valid Tracking - This is why we stopped using GlobalPost. If you use Global or China Post this is a huge problem. About 20% of the time the tracking doesn't go anywhere until it hits the country of destination, we disabled Canada for a year over this. Test this yourself after you print the labels, go track it. We started using other options on shipstation that were more reliable for this type of shipping. However, we use USPS most of the time because we don't need to ship internationally. You could add specifics about what carrier of choice and your location is, that would probably help trouble shoot this issue some. If you are sending these international find a different solution other than China or Global Post or buy it directly off their website I hear fixes the issue too.

This may not apply to you I don't know you setup I'm just offering tips blindly on how we increased our numbers .We were using a broker to negotiated rates and while it was cheaper than shipstation or Amazon shipping it just cause a ton of issue like this. Part of the problem is we had a UPS and FedEx customer number but we didn't own it so actually following up became a big issue too. Amazon kept threatening our account but didn't do anything because even though only had 90% valid tracking sometime, the packages were showing up. However, everyone here knows Amazon and that won't last forever. Eventually they'll demand it be in the range and not care if it shows up on time.

You can download a report from your metrics to see which orders caused it.

We stopped using USPS because of this issue, they always scan packages late, and delivery is delayed. It can take a few weeks for your metrics to recover.
