Food and Product Safety

One of my top selling ASIN's was removed 5 days ago due to a food and product safety issue, I believe this was because of an allergic reaction from a customer although this has never been confirmed (Only confirmed when I tried to list a variant of this product around the same time).

All documents sent to Seller Support, letter from the manufacturer, test reports, product labels etc. The case has been transferred to their internal team for information.

Any advice on how to get this product reinstated? I have lots of subscribe and save subscriptions and obviously the ranking will be destroyed by now. There is nothing wrong with the product, I don't understand how 1 customer report can cause this.

This is so frustrating, I do understand.

As previously a technical manager for various food manufacturers, I know that people can be allergic to absolutely any food. I even had a complaint from a person allergic to beef and complained that their lamb stew contained beef. And other extreme examples.

As you know, there is an official list of food allergens so if your food does not contain them, this is the direction you need to take.

If your food does contain any, check that your labelling is correct and legal.

Good luck. I hope you can get past the AI bots and get the product reinstated.
