Do I still have to manifest using RM Click and Drop

Good morning,

I have connected my Royal Mail Click and Drop Business account to Amazon
so I get my OBA postage rates when buying my postage through Amazon.

I have just received a couple of orders today and applied the following postage:

Royal Mail 2nd Class Letter
Royal Mail 48 (Large Letter) (CRL)

I presume for the CRL one, I still have to manifest through RM click and drop and
put the mail in a grey mail sack and take to the post office?

I saw on another forum thread of someone creating a manifest through Amazon?
Seller Central>Orders>Order Reports

I had a look at this, but the report generated was just a basic text file?

Yes, you have to manifest on Amazon if you used the “buy shipping” through Amazon.
To do this, go to…
Menu, top left…
Orders… Order Reports
Then click on the “end of day forms” tab
should be an orange button saying “Request” if you have created any buy shipping orders.
click this and then the manifest is created ready to download and print below after around 15 seconds

Unless Amazon is massively different to every other website where you can buy postage, the auto manifest will only go off Monday to Friday (including bank holidays)

I often prepare mail on a Saturday and don’t manifest until Monday, and I don’t forward date it, not buy shipping but Click and Drop and now a 3rd party order management system

As far as I understand the auto manifest is generated by Royal Mail, so I can’t see them treating Amazon any differently
