Can we Run ppc campaign for generic products while other sellers also selling same product in same listing?

Yes. But you need to win the buy box for your ads to work.
If you are at the same price as the other sellers, you will share the buy box so your ads will only work a portion of the time (when you are winning the buy box).

In order for a advertisements to become eligible to win a keyword bid and show up on a customer's search page, you must be actively chosen as the Featured Offer for that ASIN. This means your Ads will only run during the times you are the Featured Offer. This is to ensure you are only receiving and paying for clicks on your specific listing.
