Amazon needs to make sure customer see messages from seller
Dear Amazon, Can the platform priority message alert to customers when seller sends message. customers don't see message if they don't visit their inbox. communication needs to be easy

Most customers have opted out from receiving messages from sellers. That is their right and Amazon cannot force them to read messages. If you have to tell them something important regarding the delivery (and for NO other reason) there is a possibility. Search in the helppages with the help of the searchbar on top of your seller central.

As @Seller_rI7BZIczK8iAC mentioned, buyers are able to choose the messages they receive from Amazon. However, any issues that might be blocking the completion of an order can be communicated via a critical message to a buyer. You can learn more about sending critical messages here.
