Product Image Advice

Is a product mock-up acceptable?

I ask this question as I see many product photos that aren’t actually photos but renders.

Also - can I print the barcode on the frame insert, as shown?

Thanks.

From the Amazon Product Image Requirements

MAIN images must be professional photographs of the actual product (graphics, illustrations, mock-ups or placeholders are not allowed). They must not show excluded accessories or props that might confuse the customer.

Secondary images can be mockups. I can’t see an issue with having the barcode on there. I would however sort out the Union Jack image, as you will get a complaint from customers at some point.
