First time ever seeing "Signature Confirmation Recommended" on high value Amazon Business UK buyer
fellow sellers
just experienced a first ever order (UK business customer) flagged with "Signature Confirmation Recommended" I had never seen this before on an order. Some searching leads me to believe Amazon think this is a high risk customer? Is this correct, if the customer is high risk why are they still on Amazon 🤣🤦♂️ This order is high value too.
I can add a signature no problems but makes me concerned that this is a scammer and a signature doesn't really solve being scammed on Amazon, a better thing would be letting sellers cancel these kind of orders with no defect on metrics and protection from bad feedback as I really don't like the idea of sending this.
Any mods who can comment on this?

No mods will comment unless you tag them in, as they won't see your post. Why do you think this is a scammer ? Surely if it is a high value item then sending Special Delivery would be wise, as it will be signed for.

Hello All,
Given the many reports on the Forum of blatant abuse of Amazon's refund policies, resulting in hundreds of refunds for items then being resold on other platforms, it sems probable to me that the "Signature Confirmation Recommended" is linked to both the history of the buyer and the item value...
Can Indas advise the approximate value of the items that were flagged in this manner?
It would seem prudent for Amazon to have a low 'trigger' value as many low-value items are as damaging as one high-value item...
Perhaps the number of refunds alone, or the high percentage of historical orders refunded, should be the basis for this trigger...
All Best
Brian
