Cashback for your advertising spend using a credit card possible?

Is it possible to pay for the advertising bills on seller central using a credit card instead of the account balance?

If it is possible then it is worth using the American Express Platinum Cashback credit card (for those who spend a lot on advertising) to pay for the amazon advertising cost earning up to 1.25% cashback on your ad spend which would give a 30 day cashflow advantage too.

I ask this because I saw on the payment settings there is an option to assign a credit card to pay for the advertising bill.

Yes, it’s possible to add your credit card for ad payments instead of it coming from your account balance.

It makes good sense if you can get cash back on your card, why not. I haven’t done it myself - but it makes perfect sense to do so.

Just had a thought - with ad spend being tax deductible - you’d need to speak with your accountant to see how best to handle this - just something worth checking with your number geek.

Thanks, I thought so too - Just need some more clarification because I just received this reply from SS…

Hello from Amazon Selling Partner Support,

I understand that you contacted us regarding credit card issues.

I regret to inform you that we currently do not have an option to assign a different credit card for advertising billing payments.

Hence, you would not be able to use a different credit card for advertising purpose.
