Customer returns an item I did not send them
A customer bought a 2 metre length of Faux Fur. They opened a return case and sent back a pair of childrens fluffy ears on a headband.
I opened an Safe-t claim and Amazon have denied the claim saying "We have denied your reimbursement request for order 202-4254398-8477125.
Why is this happening?
The issue that you reported is not eligible for reimbursement per our reimbursement policy."
Anyone else had this happen and did you manage to resolve it?

I have 2 or 3 a year like that. Whenever I have had the wrong item returned, I have always been reimbursed.
Did you complete the Safe-T claim correctly, with sufficient information and photos and in clear English that a 5-year old child would understand?

What return reason did the buyer choose?
If it was that they received the wrong item, then proving they sent the wrong item back wouldn't be enough for the Safe-T Claim team, as they were expecting the return to be a different item than the listing. You'd also need to demonstrate that you sent the correct item originally, somehow.

yes I sold a Galway size football and the return that was sent was a plus size ladies swimsuit saf t claim denied same excuse given as yours.
When contacted 5he customer told me they had opened the wrong request as it was the swimsuit that they were returning not the ball. They contacted Amazon to inform them and Amazon said keep the ball as a good will gesture and still refused to reimbursement

I got an empty box returned and Safe T Claim was denied,
Also Sarah from Amazon picked up on my post and its been two weeks and nothing
I am really disappointed with Amazon choosing to Ignore rather then Reply.
