We're not VAT registered but price inc VAT being shown
We aren’t VAT registered but the prices on our listing are shoen as:
VAT exclusive price not available
£5.55 incl. VAT
Normally this dosen’t cause us a problem, as most of our sales are to private individuals, but is there a way of showing that VAT isn’t being charged to avoid confusion with customers who may be expecting a VAT invoice.

Alll consumer products have to include VAT. That you are not VAT registered makes no differene, its just zero rated. If someone asks you for a invoice you just provide one for the full value and state that you are not VAT registered.

If it doesn’t have VAT on it because you are not registered HMRC say that it shouldn’t show as VAT inclusive. Just call the VAT hotline and ask them. Don’t expect that to make any difference to what Amazon do though. According to Jeff Bezos they’re exempt from all the rules because he soon expects to own the whole world and sees it as pointless to follow rules that he is going to revoke.
