Shipping into UK Fulfilment centres from the UK 'import details incomplete'
Hello! I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the ‘import details incomplete’ notice that appears in the shipping queue?
We are a UK company shipping our stock (originally shipped from China) from our own UK warehouse into UK Amazon fulfilment centres. We have another account with the same circumstances which doesn’t require us to do this.
Amazon are asking for the following:
Amazon is required to maintain a record of any import entry numbers (IENs) allocated by HM Revenue & Customs in respect of non-EU goods imported to the UK from a non-EU country by a non-EU Seller. If you have received any IENs for these shipments, you may enter these below
The goods are not directly imported from China to Amazon UK fulfilment centres so I am unsure if it applies to us? This could potentially be complicated as the stock we send in will likely have a few different IENs depending on which container they arrived on. Are there any consequences of not providing IENs in this circumstance?
Any advice is appreciated
