How to change a purchased label?
Hi,
Does anyone know how to change a label that is purchased on Amazon UK? (Like change it from Royal Mail Large Letter to Royal Mail Parcel)
I can cancel the one I purchased but I can’t figure out how to buy a new label?
Amazon Help page says this:
If you need to make a change to a label and reprint it, follow these instructions:
- From your seller account, click Orders and then click Manage Orders .
- Click an existing order to open the Order Details page for the related shipment.
- Click Refund Purchased Delivery Label .
- Click Refund Shipping .
- Go back to the Manage Orders page, and then click Buy Shipping .
- Click Print label .
On the 5th one, there is no ‘Buy Shipping’ Option is available because the order looks dispatched already as soon as I buy the first label and I cannot change the status of the Order to buy a new label.
I appreciate it if anyone can guide me on this.

Yes, above is correct - you cannot repurchase a label for the same sale.
You will have to buy from RM online (C&D) or go to PO

Is your account linked to C&D? ie are you using code CRL? If so you can re-purchase after you’ve cancelled the initial label. Go into edit consignment, then look right down at the bottom of the page towards the right and there is a purchase label button. Had to do it myself yesterday as I’d entered the wrong weight.

As Isabel says (assuming it’s buy shipping) you can cancel the label you purchased in error and start again.
You will be refunded for the cancelled label, as long it doesn’t go through the post, but it might take a few weeks before RM verifes it and the money goes back into your account.
