How to Change download from notepad to CSV?

Hi,
I’m a new user to amazon and trying to download a report from sales ( all orders). I get to the selected date, wait for it to download, when i click to look at the report it keeps transferring to notepad. How do i change it to come through on CSV ?
If anyone can help that would be great.
thanks

Open Excel go to the Data tab and import from Txt/csv File.
Select Tab/comma delimited and it should convert to a readble format

CSV is just a list of text separated by commas, so it can be opened using notepad or Excel. If you try to open it using Excel, then you will usually have to change “All Excel Files” to “All Files” when looking for it in Windows Explorer, otherwise it won’t show up.
