Appealing Royal mail surcharges

Hello,

Does anyone here have any advice for appealing Royal mail surcharges for format 'errors', when i appeal they just tell me the charge was correct and the fee will stand even when some items were sent in large letter boxes

img

I keep getting surcharged on large letters being classed as parcels and surcharged at £6.90 each, some are fair but annoying ( ie item moves in transit making it thicker than it was when dispatched by many are unfair and i should be able to appeal )

Thank you

You need to change your packaging if the item is able to move in transit making it thicker than a large letter - you're pretty much admitting here that RM are right
