Sales summary consistently around 5 hours behind reality

For the past week or two, my sales summary (on Seller Central and the app) has been updating very slowly.

It is consistently lagging around 5 hours behind all the time. So the total sales amount from the previous day is not complete until around 5am the next day.

I first noticed this happening a few weeks ago, but only on Monday’s (I know, very strange). So if I would check Monday’s total sales at 12am, the number I would see would be much lower than the number I would see for Monday when I woke up on Tuesday and checked the previous day’s takings.

Until a few weeks ago, it was always accurate up to the half hour or so.

Is this happening to anyone else?

We’ve all had these issues before, but normally correct themselves 24 hours later and work fine for another six months updating as you say every 30 mins (sooner TBH)

I messaged support yesterday. The reply was pretty rubbish.

We understand your concern of the inaccurate sales report in the sales dashboard. Your sales report is currently updating, please allow our system to update the report.

If you use all of the reports that are available across your seller account, you might notice what seem like discrepancies. This is because the various reports pivot the data based on the service the report is set to perform. Business Reports will have a lag of 24 hours when compared to the real time data.

It is likely that sales from the current fraction of a day will be a fraction of the previous comparable day’s sale. As a result, the latest data point on the graph may appear to indicate a drop in sales data. This pattern is more apparent early in the current day and less apparent late in the current day.

yes, I’m guessing its simply the amount of traffic using the website that it takes ages to catch up

Yep had this for around 3/4 weeks now , did contact support who said it was normal , even though its not , did expect to sort it self out after a day or two , but still the same
