A customer keeps buying a product to leave 1-star product reviews
We might need some help from mods here and sellers who encountered a similar problem.
We had a customer last year (late Nov) who purchased one of our products (a grocery item). First he left a raving 5-star review. Then, a few days later, he updated it to a 1-star review, stating the product was rancid, bad, don't buy... etc.
Then he leaves another review stating the product made him sick and that he "almost had to go to a hospital" and "almost died". Surprisingly he never requested a refund for that "almost dying" incident.
We can't quote any of those two reviews here as, luckily, they have been removed by Amazon.
That was a verified purchase and we could figure out the order No for that customer via Performance tab on Seller Central, reported him and obviously those reviews were too much even for Amazon never-ending patience with inadequate customers. So not only those reviews were removed but also a feedback from the same buyer that he also left for our store.
Then he leaves a review for our other product that in not a VP review. The review said not to buy that other product because we are the seller of the product that "he almost died of". That review was never removed despite of its obviously obscene statements and is still affecting the product rating that at the time was 4.9.
Now seemingly that same buyer pops up again, surprise, surprise, more than 6 months since his previous purchase as a VP reviewer, meaning they purchased again that same product that "almost made him die". This time he states the product is a kerosene, do not buy! Note, he doesn't say it tastes kerosene, he says "it is kerosine". BTW in that review he left for our other product last year he mentioned he was looking for a lab to take the product to for testing to take if off the market. Instead, he comes back for more kerosene to consume as food and, obviously, some adrenaline, to relive the "almost dying" experience.
We have checked all of our orders of the product for the past month and seemingly, like last year, the buyer did not ask for a refund. The guy literally pays to consume kerosene instead of thousands of other products on Amazon in the same category that would possibly be a more edible choice for him. No, he keeps coming back for more kerosene! This must be some sort of a very special experience for him.
Now, seemingly the name on reviews is different from the one on their orders as we can not identify any orders of the product under the reviewer's name. Thus we can't report any violations as such cases require an order number.
Can Amazon help us matching the reviewer with the order number? We hate spending our time on this buyer and their reviews removal. Besides, it is not always a success and even if such a review is removed, the product rating doesn't go back up, something that seriously affects product sales.

Hello @Seller_0JNslkNnWLtcD- and thanks for posting around this topic. I am glad to hear the original erroneous review and feedback were removed.
I can confirm the best action to take is to use the 'Report abuse' button next to the review(s) in question to make our teams aware of the issue. You can also report buyer violations through the 'Report a violation' pathway. Including as much detail as possible, including Order IDs, when reporting the violation will help our teams identify and match reviewer with order as needed. While they may not respond to each submission, each submission will be reviewed for appropriate action.
