Inventory Removal Arrived Damaged – What Should I Do?

Hi everyone,

I completed an inventory removal process for 150 new books through Amazon FBA recently. The packing and delivery method used by them is completely ridiculous. The boxes arrived in a state of destruction while the products inside were completely exposed to view. Some of the books are damaged, and I suspect some might even be missing.

What should I do in this situation? Where can I file a complaint about the way Amazon handled the removal order? Is there any possibility to claim reimbursement for damaged or lost items during this removal process?Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hello @Seller_RJ1NNy29Fi99v, great question and thank you for posting! Amazon will reimburse you for damaged units in accordance with the FBA lost and damaged inventory reimbursement policy. To claim a reimbursement for a unit, you must provide evidence of the damage to that unit, so it is great that you took photos!

Let me know if you need any assistance filing that claim with the resources provided.
