Late delivery because of EVRI - whose responsibility?

This is the second time I experienced the negative response from EVRI, which resulted in late delivery rating.

I bought an EVRI shipping on 02/02/2024 at the point only EVRI services available (though I normally bought shipping from Royal Mail). I printed the label and waited for 5 days but no collection from EVRI. When I contacted them to remind one overdue collection and EVRI claimed that there was no record!

I started again with Royal Mail. The result is a late delivery rating from Amazon!

PS: This negative rating should never occur as Amazon must have all records of my shipping purchases which are always on time. In the two circumstance involved EVRI, I still have record and evidence from my shipping buy to show Amazon.

In a general sense, you are. The purchase was made for you to fulfil, so it's your responsibility to get it to the Buyer in the time advertised.

When you buy postage, you're 'hiring' that company to fulfil on your behalf, meaning you're still ultimately responsible.

That said, Amazon are required to follow the policy agreement they have with sellers. It is a legally binding contract, so if you're having your ODR impacted by AtoZ claims for delivery issues related to orders where you've purchased shipping through Buy Shipping, then it shouldn't be being counted against you and you need to raise complaints about that.
