New seller - large volume of pending orders
I am a new seller and have completed ID and all verification. I have 42 FBA orders from within the last 2 weeks, 1 of which has completed fully, the remaining 41 are saying they are 'awaiting payment verification' which seems very odd that they should ALL be still pending. Can anyone shed some light on this please? I can't believe 41 customers need their card details checking!

Hi @Seller_HKRFhxMYICFJp
There are several reasons why an order might be in a pending status:
- Amazon may be verifying the buyer's payment method.
- For FBA orders, if the buyer qualifies for free shipping, Amazon might be waiting to gather all items in the order.
- In FBA orders with multiple items, if one item is out of stock, the order may remain pending even if Amazon decides to split the shipment.
- For Subscribe & Save deliveries, orders are placed in advance to align with delivery schedules and reserve inventory.
It's important to note that you should not ship any orders while they're in pending status, even if a buyer contacts you directly. If a buyer reaches out about a pending order, please refer them to Amazon Customer Service.
