What's Your Thoughts on Putting Products on a Sale Price?
We had a sale for 2 weeks where we reduced the price on 22 ASINs. After that we put the prices back to MSRP.
We've now lost the buy box on all these ASINs as Amazon still thinks the "competitive price" is at the reduced sale prices. These products are not being sold anywhere online at the reduced prices.
No idea how long it will take for Amazon to catch up.
Anyone having a similar experience?

Did you manually change the prices? If so, Amazon is seeing the lower price as the full price. For sales, you should enter the Sale Price on the Offer tab of the Sku editing page, along with the date range to run it for.

Hello @Seller_GK5kQEXpZI6fr,
Thank you for posting on the forum. I understand the concern since you set up the sale correctly through the Sale Price feature with a defined end date, yet the competitive price benchmark still reflects the reduced sale prices.
This can sometimes happen when the pricing algorithm takes time to recalibrate after a sale period ends. Here are a few things you can try:
1. Review your Pricing Health page: Go to Pricing > Pricing Health to check if there are any pricing alerts or competitive price references still tied to the old sale prices.
2. Use the Automate Pricing tool: Navigate to Pricing > Automate Pricing and consider setting a "Competitive Buy Box" rule temporarily to help the system recognise your current MSRP as the active price.
3. Open a case with Seller Support: Since this is affecting 22 ASINs and you've confirmed no competitors are selling at the reduced prices, I'd recommend opening a case with our Seller Support team to have the pricing team review the competitive price benchmarks on these listings.
You can contact the team from here.
Let me know how it goes or if you need further assistance.
Regards,
Billy
