You need approval to list this product
Hi, about 2 weeks ago I added two private label products to my inventory. I'm brand registered. I've edited the listing several times to update images etc, no stock has arrived at Amazon yet. I tried to edit the listings today and got the attached message. No idea why. When I click the request approval button I get the other message. To confirm, these are both my own, brand registered private label products, both listings are still "live" on Amazon but I can no longer edit those listing.
I've opened a case and the id is - 10612742962
I'd be very grateful for any help please.

I've just received the reply below. I don't understand. These listing have been created for almost two weeks now, I've purchased stock and it's on it's way into Amazon. How can they suddenly do this.
Hello from Amazon Selling Partner Support,
We see that you have contacted us regarding unable to edit your listings for the two products .
To maintain a safe and trustworthy shopping experience, certain products cannot be listed or sold on Amazon or may be subject to additional requirements because of supply chain authenticity risks.
Your account does not currently meet the criteria required to list these products due to account metrics, distribution pathways of the brand, or other factors.
If your account becomes eligible to sell this product, you will see "Apply to sell" next to the product in the "Add products" feature in Seller Central.

There is no easy answer to this and often Amazon come back with responses from seller support that do not accurately describe the issue you are experiencing.
My first concern is that you are brand regsitered and added 2 private label products to your inventory. It is common place for manufacturers to allow traders to sell a product under their own brand under license. It is not always clear who is providing the license and whether this license is truly a valid supply chain.
The clues are always in the response stating that it could be down to account metrics. How much experience do you have on selling your brand on Amazon and do you have the true authority over the product you are supplying?
Distribution pathways of the brand? Consider the relationship between you and your supplier and the agreement you have. The products you are selling maybe open to every Tom, D*** or Harry and therefore generic and should there be an issue with the actual product, it would be a nightmare scenario to work out which brands are responsible if there are multiple brands basically selling an identical product.
Lastly other factors is telling you that if it is neither of these issues then it could be anything.
Sorry I cannot be more helpful, I wouldn't have used FBA from the off but built a solid sales platform on a few different areas and then pushed it through FBA afterwards. It is a very risky way to start with new products through FBA.
Lol, can't believe I had to edit a word as I was apperently using inappropriate language.

@Roberto_AmazonHi Roberto, I've noticed that you have helped others with this crazy situation. Could you possibly help me please. I've got lots of stock on it way over and this has obviously cost me a great deal of money. I'd be extremely grateful for your help.
Thanks.
